Phase 1: Discover

PURPOSE:

To gain an in-depth understanding of the current practices and the key challenges and barriers.

Hold a few fact-finding meetings with the client to build a solid business understanding in terms of:

  • Primary target audience
  • Internal communication channels
  • Best practices for employees’ engagement
  • Brand strategy and positioning
  • Tracking measures
  • Internal surveys
  • Rules of engagement with the marketing team, etc.

Phase 2: Define

PURPOSE:

To develop a solid internal communication program for kicking off the desired transformation journey and ensure engagement among the various target segments.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION PLAN:

Once the business objectives have been agreed, an integrated communication plan will be developed.

The communication plan will identify and cover:

  • The Communication Strategic Direction
  • Primary and Secondary Target Segments
  • Content Strategy and Message Mapping
  • Communication Channel Mix
  • Implementation and Rollout Plan
  • RACI Chart

Phase 3: Design

PURPOSE:

To start the project execution and all the communication channel work preparations pre-launch.

PROCESS:

Once the communication plan has been agreed, the next steps will cover.

  • The development of the transformation program name, positioning statement, and visual identity – based on the corporate brand guidelines
  • The communication creative concept development
  • The content development
  • The development of the transformation program visual identity guidelines

Phase 4 & 5: Delivery & Assessment

PURPOSE:

To support and oversee the implementation of the communication plan by the client marketing team or the appointed agencies/ suppliers.

PROCESS:
  • Ensure a streamlined implementation on the communication rollout
  • Conducting pulse check surveys to assess clarity of communication and employees’ feedback
  • On-going tracking and assessment of the employees’ engagement
  • Adjusting and fine-tuning the communication plan when needed
